Sports aerobics is not a well-known sport in Poland, but has been gaining popularity in recent years. It is a combination of gymnastics, acrobatics and dance. Sports aerobics requires strength (both static and dynamic), flexibility, and endurance. A competitor prepares a two minute routine to high-paced music (150-160 BPM). The routine consists of intricate choreography, as well as obligatory and bonus elements from various skills sets. These elements can be jumps, push-ups, presses or flexibility skills. Routines can be competed as solos, mixed doubles, and trios.
