Men’s basketball

Join the Kozminski University basketball team!

One of the most successful sports teams at Kozminski University, our men’s basketball team is a six-time Polish University Champion and has remained undefeated in the Warsaw and Mazovia Academic Championships since 2011.

The team regularly competes in the Warsaw and Mazovia Academic Championships (AMWiM) and the Polish University Championships (AMP), consistently ranking among the top university basketball teams in Poland.

The section is open to students with basketball experience who want to develop their skills and compete at a high level. Training sessions are held three times a week under the guidance of an experienced coach and focus on technical, tactical, and team development.

Tryouts take place during regular training sessions starting October 1. Come to a practice and show us what you’ve got!

Enrollment:

The qualifications for section enrollment take place during the training. Start from 1.10.

Achievements:

• 6 times winners of  Academic Polish Championships in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014

• 6 times winners of  Academic Polish Championships among private schools in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014

• Winning AMWiM from 2011 year

• won tournaments Varsoviada in the years 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020

• gold medal in the First-year students Games in 2014, 2019, 2020

• 3 times took place in Academic European Championships  in Greece (2009) – 14th place, Poznan (2010) – 8th place and in Spain (2011) – 9th place
